The symbol

Unlike Japan or Briton, We don't have an emperor or king to act as a symbol of unification. What we have are  cultural and political heroes. Some represent the olive leaf and others were core revolutionaries. Its very difficult to select one, as all humans have their own weakness, no matter how heroic he is. The symbol must be an undisputed , indestructible, eternal, and unique. All these characteristics cannot be found in any human beings, but only in an 'IDEA'. It cannot be destroyed, it is eternal and unique. What Idea? The idea of Indian Brotherhood, which must be well rooted in the strong love towards nation. The nation is the ultimate boundary, and we should mold our thoughts and deeds to make it fit with in the boundary, or in another way, our deeds must fit to the rich culture we have and the rules we made. We may wear the most fashionable dress, but we should respect elders as an Indian should do. we may talk many languages, but never forget our's. We may live in any other country as situation arise, but never leave our country during a crisis. We may enjoy each second we live, till the ultimate luck arrives to die for our country. The Idea is eternal, but it needs a medium. It cannot exist alone. Just be a medium, the invisible duty, the duty towards the country is always vested in you. Each day you live here, the debt is there, she never ask, but we are obliged to pay it. The Idea of Indian Brotherhood is the symbol and we are the medium. Like the loyalty to the emperor supported Japan to stay alive in midst of losses, like the cherry blossom made them feel strong, we have to go forward with the Idea, to stay alive, to feel strong.

The need for extreme nationalism

My dear fellow Indians , i am not at all educated enough to direct you, but a light common sense is enough to see and foresee the upcoming events, related to our country directly and indirectly related to each one of us. There are 28 states, more on anvil, and all those 28 states have 28 different customs, languages and economy. Unity in diversity, which is a unique feature of our country( according to us) is the bond between all these 28 states. There are enough geographical and demo graphical differences to form a continent, but the joint struggle for freedom and timely hard work from our Iron man, averted such a possible disaster. 65 years after gaining independence, our national unity is reflected only during wars or cricket final against pakisthan. The history text books give clear picture of the struggles made by our great leaders irrespective of the differences in language, culture or custom. But it is either mis understood by students as a bed time story or a potential 15 marks essay. I have seen many times ,how people from another state are treated here, like some unwanted guests . It may be because of the cultural differences and the difference in responses towards society. What ever it is, with 99% literacy in our state and we are unable to understand that the people from other states are not our guests but its their home too. If we can't understand and behave accordingly, how could others with much lower literacy rates? The friction between states over Dams, land and water has become  frequent news, people still want to form new states from the existing ones. The divisions can be seen even among each individuals, all acting themselves as alien to others. The uneducated half is still immersed in superstitions irrespective of culture and those educated ones now neglect the rich culture itself and looking west for new base. An Indian may generate a picture of slums in foreigners as shown in slumdog millionaire, but it truly generate another picture also, the picture of continous light. Light of enlightment, cradle of human culture. Our new generation sitting on the lightsource and searching for it all around the globe. The way to understand the source is to understand our own culture, it is linked with all the 28 states, so you cant start unless you are an extreme patriot, with strong love to fellow Indians irrespective of all those differences we have. The stranger you see while going to office or park or theatre is your own brother, do nothing which would harm your brother, such a strong feeling of nationalism and patriotism is required to build up a healthy and unified society and ultimately a strong nation. No one can do anything which hurts his family, we need a family, a big family, billion strong family. Brothers either we can unite under the banner of extreme patriotism and work for our country or stay as individuals and fight each other. Choice is ours.
